HOLE 5

MENS STROKE INDEX 13/31 LADIES 12

One of the signature holes on the course.

A relatively short Par 4 that can be played in a few different ways. A large bunker cuts accross the fairway at the 200m mark so the safe play is to hit a tee shot that will finish short of this bunker. A large dam runs the entire length of the fairway on the right hand side and must be avoided as any shot that is hit to the right will meet a watery grave. If you safely find the fairway you will be left with a short pitch into a long green that is protected on both sides by bunkers and has a tier at the back. The green drops away at the sides and over the back.

The longer more adventurous players might want to have a crack at knocking there drive on this green. This will require a precision drive as anything off line will either find one of the 3 bunkers or the dam. A great drive can lead to an easy birdie of possibly an eagle however many players have tried to over power this hole and walked off making bogey or worse!
